A mom: Bonding time with my son Bhoy2 at subic

I had a tiring, stressful but a Great day with my son last Jan.27. I brought him with me to celebrate the Catholic Teachers' Day together with My VMIS Family. We went to subic for Tree Top Adventure  and Zoobic safari click here. At first I was skeptical to bring him with me without my husband tagging along, I dont know if I can take care of him without his dad. You know children when they feel tired of walking PAPA KARGA NA( He's turned 3 last Feb. 10)... and I doubt if I can go on with this the whole day of the tour. But then I made a decision to bring him with me to our outing anyway this will give me the opportunity and chance to be with him and have a quality time together(the chance to make up for days that I was not able to give him-been busy for quite sometime now with my work).

The Day came and keeping my Fingers cross:
My husband accompanied us to Mcdonalds San Pedro @ 3:00 a.m , where my co teachers: T. Lory, papa Pancho(t. Lory's hubby) and T, Andrei  were waiting for us and from there Papa Pancho will take us to VMIS where other teachers and VMIS staff were waiting.

First Stop: Breakfast @Jollibee subic(Jobille for Bhoy2)
Bhoy2 cooperated well with our breakfast though he just ate fries and went through smoothly(akala ko I won't be able to eat well)

Second Stop:I dont know the name of this place but we can view the sea of subic from it

Third Stop: Tree Top Adventure
There are lots of packages included in the Tree Top Adventure: some of the adventures you can enjoy with are- different kinds of zip line rides like: the canopy ride, free fall, superman and many more but unfortunately many of us were not able to join the said adventure. Tree Top wont allow anybody with conditions like: high blood, vertigo and people that have under gone major surgeries(which two of these I have:vertigo and a recent surgery ) for safety measures-we didn't know about theses policy until the briefing time, but you can still have the options to do if you will sign a waiver. I chose not to join, I will not take the risk I have a son with me and I dont want to spoil the day of my coleagues and my son if something happened to me during the adventure. I have to take my serc pill(for  my vertigo) when I had to climb up a stairs high enough for me to faint, to reach the snack and waiting area of the place but had the courage to go up coz my son was already there and I will be left alone(thank you to manong driver who carried my son all  the way up.

canopy ride
Fourth Stop:Zoobic Safari Tour:

Entrance fee: 449/pax for adult
less 100 for children 3 feet above
plus 50/pax for the train and jeepney rent

Finally the place where my son and I really enjoyed, the only place in the Philippines where you can have close encounter with real tigers and The only Tiger Safari in the Philippines. The 2 and half hour tour includes, serpentarium, savvanah croco locco, The Tiger Safari and many more.
Well all I can say is that we enjoyed it specially the The Tiger Safari where you will ride in a screened jeepney for safety measures they will lock you up inside. And if you really want to enjoy the said adventure dont forget to avail of their 200php raw chicken which an Aeta will be joining you inside the jeep and from inside he will be feeding the tiger with the raw chicken, without the raw chicken tiger will not come near your ride and it will make your tour boring and not exciting.

I also suggest if you have asthmatic children bring with you their nebulizer and medicines this place is full of dust. Have to nebulize bhoy2 when we got home preventing him from having asthma attack.

Fifth and Last Stop: Royal Subic

Before going home we decided to buy some px goods at Royal- Like duty free you can buy imported goods here like all time favorite picnic and pringles at a lower prices compared to local supermarket prices. Well due to limited budget in lieu of the chocolates, picnic and pringles that i would love to give my hubby as pasalubong  I ended up buying a 10 dollar toy car for my son rather than buying a pack of jelly ace(12 pcs. in each pack) worth 12 dollars which I can buy for less than 20php in local supermarkets.

The tour ends well.... Bhoy2 cooperated very much all throughout the tour. :) (though not with the 10 dollar toy car-which as of the moment pieces of it were all scattered everywhere in our house) he really enjoyed and played with it di ba?.......
